youngster I was raised on a farm. I was taught to appreciate
nature and the animals we had around us. My Father and I spent many
hours with our animals, and in the forest with the wild animals. He
encouraged me to listen and watch how they communicated with each other.
I hopefully shared this secret with my children and now with others.
Life prevented me from completing my dream of being a journalist.
I now realize that was perhaps a good thing. I did discover that I
could write stories that were of interest to my English professor and he
found them worth presenting to others. This long lost encouragement
is sustaining me now as I carefully feel my way into the literary field.
It is a passion inside me and I shall continue to play with it and explore
where ever I am led.
